Hey! My name is Aden and I record and mix music. After obtaining an Advanced Diploma in Technical Production at RMIT in 2011 I had the opportunity to assist and work under Matt Voigt (Cat Power), Charles Fisher (Savage Garden, Hoodoo Gurus), Nao Anzai (No Zu, Night Terrors) and Tim Johnston (Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds).

 

In 2012 I worked out of ninetynine100 Studio run by Simon Moro at its previous location in Balaclava. Around this time I had the opportunity to do a lot of remote recording including live tracking multiple performances by comedian Sammy J for his album “Skinny Man, Modern World” which went on to receive an ARIA nomination.

 

Over the next three years I honed my recording and mixing skills in both Melbourne and Perth. Throughout this time I worked on music by Martin King (The Harpoons), Major Napier, The Shabbab as well as multiple releases by Dianas, Flower Drums and 8 Bit Love. I also joined Flower Drums on guitar, releasing “28 Mansions” and touring the USA and Australia.

 

In 2015 I ran and worked out of Soft Machine Studio in Footscray. During this time I worked with Nicholas Allbrook (Pond, Tame Impala) on multiple records, Pikelet (Evelyn Ida Morris), Peter Bibby, Body Type, The Native Cats and Flower Drums.

 

I currently work out of Love Shack Studios run by Jessicca Bennett in Footscray.
